MRR is a run rate. Insights → Collections is cash: what customers paid each month, on the day they paid it. The two differ because of billing dates, annual plans, failed payments and one-time purchases.
Monthly collections, with the categories and the Collected total numbered 1 and 2

This month

The cards split this month’s money by kind:
  • Subscription payments: paid subscription invoices.
  • One-time purchases: one-off payments, such as setup fees.
  • Credit packs and top-ups: prepaid credits.
  • Refunds: money paid back, counted in the month it went back (chargebacks too).
Collected is everything paid in, minus refunds. It’s compared with the same point last month.

Month by month, and who paid

By month charts each kind over your date range. Below it, open any kind to see its payments: largest or newest first, By customer or By category. Select a customer to open their details.

How collections are counted

  • Stripe: paid invoices (what was charged after any customer balance or credit, so spending a credit never counts twice), Checkout payments, and charges without an invoice.
  • Shopify: subscription, one-time and usage sales.
  • Wix: payout rows.
Amounts are before platform fees.
