# Check your first MRR number

> Compare OneMRR's MRR with each platform's billing before you share it.

When the import is done, step 3 of **Get started**, **Review your MRR calculation**, shows your MRR across every platform, before marketplace commissions.

![Step 3 of Get started: the MRR total and source rows, and the two buttons, numbered 1 and 2](https://mintcdn.com/one-mrr/q05aXT_0moaoPNhC/images/get-started/review-mrr.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=q05aXT_0moaoPNhC\&q=85\&s=9ba8ecba4716d69d47efe1da937b5333)

1. **The total and one row per source.** Each row says whether it **matches** the platform's billing. If it doesn't, the row shows what billing says and the difference, **categorized**.
2. **The two buttons.** Select **This looks right** to finish and go to the Overview. Select **Something looks off** for the most common reasons a number differs, by platform.

## See every difference

OneMRR compares each source with what the platform itself says: live subscriptions for Stripe, the last 30 days of bills for Shopify, and the latest payouts for Wix. Billing and MRR measure different things, so OneMRR puts each customer's difference into one category. The categories add up exactly to the gap.

Open **Connections** and expand **Reconciliation** on a source's card. Select a category to see its customers, largest difference first.

| Category | What it means |
| - | - |
| Not billed in the window | Active, but the 30-day billing cycle fell just outside the window, or the bill is still pending. On Wix this is **Paid term still running**: still inside a paid month, with no newer payout yet. |
| Annual plans billed earlier | Paid for the year before the window began. MRR counts one-twelfth every month. |
| Billed, then cancelled or refunded | Billed in the window, but ended since, so no longer in MRR. |
| Billed more than once | Upgrades, prorations or overlapping cycles put two bills in the window. MRR counts one month. |
| Discounts, prorations or price changes | The latest bill differs from the monthly price. On Wix this is **Plan switches, refunds or currency**. |
| Not in both | Active on one side only. Usually a subscription left out of **Products counted as MRR**, or one created in the last few minutes. |
| Match exactly | No difference. |

The categories describe the pattern seen in billing. They don't prove the cause.

## Choose which Stripe products count

Stripe accounts often sell more than subscriptions. On the Stripe card, **Products counted as MRR** lists every product on a subscription. Untick any that shouldn't count as recurring revenue, then select **Save MRR products and re-sync**.

![Products counted as MRR with its save button outlined](https://mintcdn.com/one-mrr/q05aXT_0moaoPNhC/images/get-started/mrr-products.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=q05aXT_0moaoPNhC\&q=85\&s=e71f71ed55ba1c3487c5e9fafdeda709)

One-time payments, such as setup fees or credit packs, are never MRR. Pick which of them count as one-time revenue under **Products counted as one-time revenue**. See [Discounts and one-time revenue](https://docs.onemrr.dev/analytics/discounts-and-one-time.md).

## Check freshness on the Overview

On the **Overview**, the line under MRR and ARR says when each source last synced. Select it to see each source's status and its newest billing record. The link at the bottom opens the reconciliation and sync history.
