# Break down your MRR

> Split MRR and its movements by plan, platform, country, or any breakdown of your own.

On the **Overview**, **MRR by** splits MRR for the pinned month into parts: by plan, by platform, by sales channel, or any way you set up. Each part shows its MRR, its movements and its customers.

Pick a breakdown from the menu next to **MRR by**. Your own breakdowns are under **Custom**; the ones that need no setup are under **Built in**. **Manage breakdowns** opens the settings.

## Built-in breakdowns

| Breakdown | Splits MRR by |
| - | - |
| **Source** | Stripe, Shopify, Wix and your other platforms. |
| **Connection** | Each connected account, when a platform has more than one. |
| **Plan** | The plan at each moment, using your plan display names. An upgrade moves MRR from one plan to the other. |
| **Billing interval** | Monthly or annual. |
| **Country** | The customer's country. |

## Read the table

Switch between **Chart** and **Table**. The table has one row per part.

1. **MRR** for the month, and **MoM**, the change from last month.
2. **Movements**: new, expansion, reactivation, contraction and churn, and **Net new**. Each part counts its movements as if it were its own business.
3. **Per customer**: how many customers, and their **LTV**. If you have one-time revenue, **One-time** and **LTV + one-time** appear too.

Select an amount to see the customers behind it. Select a name to [drill in](https://docs.onemrr.dev/breakdowns/drill-down.md).

The table shows the 9 largest parts first. Smaller ones are added together in one row; select it, or **Show all**, to see every part.

## The chart

The chart shows one small card per part, on the same scale, with its share of MRR and its trend over your date range.

> **Source** works like the source switch in the filter bar: selecting a source filters the whole dashboard to it, then splits it by the next breakdown.
